Flex! Snap! Fly! Magic Books and Paper Toys

Description: In this class, the focus will be on books that move and engage with the viewer in a different way than the average book on the shelf. Forms to be explored include simple sculptural bindings, flexagons, and magic wallets, as well
as the intriguing Flag Book, a playful structure that can be customized in as many ways as there are artists. In addition, we'll discuss the development of intriguing content (visual and written) that will complement these unusual, unexpected bookforms. Come and let your imagination (and your fingers) run wild!
